Life can be tough
Tips for navigating the hard times.
Walk. Move your body. Breathe fresh air. Any exercise will help re-set your mind.
Help someone. It’s been proven that helping others brings about happiness like nothing else. Volunteer, give to your favorite cause, buy a stranger a meal.
Take a day off. Not to sit in front of the TV. Get out of the house. Sit in the sun. Read an uplifting book. Listen to music. Dance.
Read up. Why are you feeling down or anxious? Get some insight into the root of the issue.
Rest. Some situations are just not going to be resolved quickly. It’s important to put down the weight of the problem for a while and focus on other, happier things! You can return to the fight another day.
Be thankful. Write a list of things, people, and places you are thankful for. Add to it daily.
Hug. So simple, so easy, so powerful in boosting your emotional and mental well being.
7. Perspective. No matter what the hardship is, remember that you’ve overcome many bad times in your life and you will get through this one as well!
