No

It is sometimes the hardest word to say, but often the most necessary.

In today’s busy world, we often feel pulled in many directions at once.  From constant requests for time and money by people we barely know, to “can I ask you a quick question?” (Which is never quick by the way), to those begrudging obligations we can’t seem to avoid, the forces siphoning away our spirit are everywhere.

We all have limited time, energy, and money to commit to everything in our Iives.  Failing to utilize these resources on the things that matter most leads to feeling overwhelmed and unhappy.

The reality is you have every right to say no, for any reason, at any time, and you should exercise that right without hesitation:

- To anything that is hurting you.

- To standards that no longer serve you.

- To people who drain you of your creativity and joy.

- To beliefs that are not true to the real you.

-To obligations that aren’t nurturing your mind and spirit.

Say no and don’t look back.  Saying no gives you the time and energy to say yes to yourself, and to things that truly make you happy!
